Q. What is a 5x3 flag - also described as 5ft.x3ft or 5'x3'
?
A. By this we mean a flag five feet long by three feet tall.

Sometimes flags dimensions are described in yards. One yard = 3ft or about 0.9m. The phrase "A two yard flag" generally means a flag 6ft wide by 3ft tall.
Q. What are the flags made of ?
A. 5x3 flags are made of coloured polyester material with any design
or crest printed on the background material.
All other flags are machine sewn and made of a hard wearing and colour fast cotton polyester blend. Crests or designs will appear on one side only of the flag unless the flag is made double sided. Double sided flags tend to fly less well, especially when wet.
Q. Does the flag have eyelets ?
A. Yes each flag has an upper and lower brass eyelet on the left side
for hanging the flag or flying from a flag pole.
Q. Do you supply flag poles.
A. No. Sorry - you will need to source this yourself.
Q. Do you supply bunting, paper flags or desk/table flags.
A. No sorry. Our smallest flags are 5x3 ft.
Q. Do you print designs on custom flags?
A. As a rule we do not print on custom flags at all. Any letters or
logos we add to a flag are sewn on and made of the same material as
the flag to avoid shrinkage problems when the flag gets wet and improve
durability of the design.
Q. Do you do sewn lettering on football flags apart from the St George
one?
A. Yes. You can have various designs and letter colours on any national
flag or you can design your own flag. Some people buy a basic flag and
then sew or glue on their own designs.
Q. Can you make a flag to my exact or corporate design.
A. Yes - but both parties need to be very precise about colours, lettering
styles and logo designs to be used. In the case of sewn fabric flags
the available fabrics may not be a 100% colour match with precise corporate
standards.
Q. Are the flags washable ?
A. Yes - treat as drip dry fabric or hand wash at 40°C. Don't use
bleaches.
Q. How is my flag delivered ?
A. 5x3 Flags are delivered by Registered Mail. All other flags are sent
by Courier services such as Parcelforce or UPS. In either case somebody
will have to sign for the flag(s).
Q. How long does it take before I get my flag ?
A. Stock 5x3 flags are usually mailed out by return post. Football flags
or custom made flags can take up to 21 days in the UK. If you need the
flag for a critical event please check on the manufacturing lead time.
